A special presentation was made to Valerie Gonzalez-Handly (MSW 1980) who organized the OLLU Tamalefest during Fiesta 2009.
A special Hall of Fame Award was presented to Adria Wauson (BA 1997).
Our Lady of the Lake is proud of the accomplishments alumni have made around the world. The Outstanding Alumni Award is the highest award presented by OLLU.
OLLU recognizes three of our graduates a year in the categories of Service to the Community, Service to Profession, and Service to the Alma Mater. OLLU alumni shall present candidates to the Alumni Executive Council for full recommendation. The recommendations are sent to President Tessa Martinez Pollack for final approval.
It is never too early to nominate alumni, simply fill out an Outstanding Alumni Awards Nomination form and mail it to OLLU Office of Stewardship & Constituent Relations 411 SW 24th St San Antonio, TX 78207. Please send us a one-page summary about the nominee, along with any documentation of the indiviudal's accomplishments, a resume or curriculum vita. You can even nominate yourself.
